I can’t wait to meet you!
Kate is one of the best teachers I have had. She really focuses on the individual voice, rather than trying to fit you into a mold!”

I have grown as a singer, storyteller, and human after working with Kate. She selects amazing repertoire that pushes and surprises you. Work with her. You won’t regret it!

What will we work on in our voice lessons? All lessons are catered to the student‘s individual goals, level, and personality. Together, we will come up with an effective and personal plan to reach your vocal goals. Some things we might work on include: -Audition Preparation -Repertoire Selection -Breath work appropriate for the song/style -Body Alignment -Exploration of various vocal sounds including chest voice, head voice, mix belt, belt, falsetto, vibrato, straight tone, etc. -Acting through song/Performance techniques -Various CCM (Contemporary Commercial Music) styles including pop, jazz, contemporary -Classical repertoire (College Audition Prep)
-
Do I need to bring anything to my lessons?Yes! A water bottle, binder, folder, or iPad with your music (if you don’t have any yet, you will), and an openness to try new vocal sounds.

What are the lessons policies (cancellations, rescheduling, payment, etc.)?Lessons policies are in place to protect my business and your lesson time. I require 12 hours notice of cancellation in order to reschedule your lesson. If you are sick, please do not come to your lesson. Payment MUST be made at the beginning of every month for that month. Otherwise, you will be required to pay the drop-in rate ($90/hour). You must commit to a minimum of 2 lessons per month to get the membership rate ($40/30-minutes or $80/1-hour) and payment must be made in full for that month. If you cancel your lesson (12-hours in advance), that lesson will roll over to the next month. If I have to cancel, I will credit you that lesson for the following month. Payment can be made via Zelle, Venmo, cash or check. I will send invoices at the beginning of the month.
